Conserve It, CSIRO and Echuca Regional Health join forces to deliver Prototype AI Solution

Conserve It are excited to be leading a government-funded, Co-operative Research Centres Project (CRC-P) delivered in conjunction with CSIRO and Echuca Regional Health.

The project centres around the optimal scheduling of air conditioning systems with renewable energy resource and thermal storage, resulting in an integrated approach for improving energy efficiency and renewable integration using artificial intelligence methods.

The government-funded grant will provide a prototype working solution at Echuca Regional Health. It will combine a range of storage systems, energy sources and various chillers to meet the building energy needs in an optimal way.

The prototype uses an artificial intelligence-supported model predictive controller (AI-MPC) framework. AI-MPC uses a high-level model to generate predictions of system load and resources to minimise operation costs.

AI methods will be applied to continuously learn and update the system models based on feedback from measurements, and to generate predictions and define optimal trajectories. Optimal control of these systems during various seasons considering variable demand profile, electricity and gas costs needs to be developed. A working solution for the project is due for delivery by June 2021.

The solution will be discussed in further detail at the 2019 AIRAH Future of HVAC Conference, in a presentation delivered by Conserve It General Manager Chirayu Shah, CSIRO Research Team Leader Subbu Sethuvenkatraman and Echuca Regional Health Executive Project Manager Mark Hooper.

Really enjoyed reading this post the way you highlighted key moments in history made it both informative and https://www.adoptionplanners.com engaging. It’s always interesting to see events put into a clear timeline like this. I recently came across a similar discussion on an adoptionplanners-based review blog (adoptionplanners), and it offered an interesting perspective as well.
